|Welcome to akufi.org, a repository for Berber culture. In a traditional Berber house, the akufi is a large jar with stoppered holes, which is used for storing provisions and valuables. This site is a modern equivalent for storing and sharing cultural assets. Visit, be inspired, and take out whatever you need - or put something into it yourself.|
In this section of the site you can get the keyboard drivers you need for typing Northern Berber and Tuareg language variants. You can also find Tifinagh fonts specialised for different geographical regions.
Both the keyboards and the fonts share a set of assumptions (see the .pdf document of the proposal here) about the Unicode encoding and the writing of Berber in Latin and Tifinagh scripts.
